My name is Adrien Bouguen. I am a postdoc researcher at the University of California, Berkeley. Welcome to my website!
At Berkeley, I am currently working with Ted Miguel (UC Berkeley), Craig McIntosh (UC San Diego) and Prashant Bharadwaj (UC San Diego) on the Long-Term Impact Discovery Project (LID). The objective of the project is to first survey and evaluate all available experimental studies on cash transfer and child health conducted at least 10 years ago and second develop a screening strategy to identify the most promising studies for long-term follow-up.
Aside from the LID project, I am a Principal Investigator (PI) on numerous studies, in developing and developed countries, in the field of education, development economics, and agricultural economics. I am particularly interested in child cognitive development. I am PI on one of the largest experimental study on preschool construction which is currently being implemented in Cambodia. One of the paper from this study (see research section) is my job market paper for my first Job Market. I will be in Atlanta for the ASSA meeting in January 2019 and in Naples at the EEA meeting in December 2018.
